Neill Herring, an attorney, is a veteran environmental lobbyist. He lobbies for a number of Riverkeeper organizations and the Sierra Club. His passion and focus is the environment, natural resources and water. He has lived in Jesup, Georgia for quite some time, and concentrates much of his activist work and research on Georgia's water plan.
This collection consists of one volume of newsclippings collected, organized, and bound by Neill Herring. Also included are files kept regarding water wars, industrial and sewer pollutants, reservoir and water use policy, Georgia State House and Senate bills, notes and correspondence regarding water issues around the state, Georgia Water Coalition reports and events, and statewide Riverkeeper materials.
