Historical Note
Henry Holcombe Tucker (1819-1898) was a clergyman, educator, President of Mercer University, and the Chancellor of the University of Georgia (1874-1878).
Scope and Content
The collection consists of four diaries of Henry Holcombe Tucker. He writes about daily activities, and in the diary for 1859, Tucker writes of the places he has resided, schools he attended and is associated with, and family history.
