| Abstract: The collection consists of papers of Doris V. Martin from 1963-1990. The papers mainly contain plaques, but also include correspondence (1963-1989), clippings, photographs, press releases, scripts, speeches, and weekly program outlines for Martin's talk shows, "Let's Talk It Over" (1978-1982) and "Mornin" (1983-1989). The materials document Martin's career with WMAZ-TV (Macon, Ga.) as well as her activities on behalf of the handicapped. | |

Historical Note
Doris V. Martin, began as a receptionist with WMAZ-TV (Macon, Ga.) and eventually hosted her own talk shows "Let's Talk it Over" and "Mornin." Martin retired in 1990.
