Sarah J. Ferguson (b. 1905) was the grandmother of William Tate, former dean of the University of Georgia.
The collection consists of three items: speech prepared by Sarah J. Ferguson regarding the development of Sunday school in the South; transcript of said speech read by Ferguson at Fairview Church, Cherokee County, Georgia; transcript of a letter from William Tate containing an explanation of the speech by Ms. Ferguson.
