Private Willie Robison was a member of Company B, 83rd Signal Corps, Heavy Construction Battalion in the U.S. Army who served during World War II.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of correspondences from Private Willie Robison to his mother, Mrs. Annie R. Robison Evan of Shellman, Georgia. He writes from Fort Dix, Fort Monmouth, and Fort Benning, where he trains for war, then from Okinawa in the Pacific.
