Sandford Meddick Salyer taught Rhetoric and English Literature at the University of Georgia from about 1908-1916.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of a notebook belonging to Sandford M. Salyer. The notebook contains notes on Shakespeare, Peele, Marlowe and other English writers; and poetry, linguistics, and Roman satirists. "Sandford M. Salyer, Amherst College, Amherst, Mass." is written on the flyleaf.
