Margaret Mitchell (1900-1949) was an American author who won the Pulitzer Prize in 1937 for Gone with the Wind.

The collection consists of two typewritten letters regarding an invitation to speak at a book fair in Canada, and Gone with the wind, and another regarding Mitchell's decision to forgo the book fair.
