Kenneth Coleman was a professor of history at the University of Georgia and an authority on colonial and revolutionary Georgia. He wrote Georgia History in Outline (1955). For more information see the article Kenneth Coleman in the New Georgia Encyclopedia.
This collection includes papers relating to the planning, editing, publication, etc. of the Dictionary of Georgia Biography, published as a celebration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the state of Georgia. It includes Dr. Coleman's papers, correspondence and a manuscript of the dictionary.
