Historical Note
Lawton B. Evans was born in Lumpkin, Stewart County, Georgia, on October 27, 1862. He entered the University of Georgia as a student in the Select Course for the AM degree in 1880/1881.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of nine scrapbooks of pasted clippings about Georgia history. Each volume has a typed index laid in front.
