The scrapbook also contains names of editors of each paper (Emlyn Evans, Charles King, Paul Williams, and Harold Moore). A letter to Dean John E. Drewry, Henry W. Grady School of Journalism, University of Georgia, indicates that the scrapbook of the Utica newspapers is an entry in the Newspaper Association Managers, Inc. National Newspaper Week contest. A letter to Dean John E. Drewry concerns what newspapers in Yakima, Washington are doing to promote National Newspaper Week. The WSAV-TV, Savannah, Georgia scrapbook contains the station's entries in the Associated Press Awards Competition in 1963. Each page indicates category, title of show nominated, and has a GAPBA News Awards entry blank, photographs or colorful sketches, and information about the show or stories nominated. Titles of show and stories include Eleventh hour, Dateline Savannah, 3 for the show, Candid opinion, The death of President Kennedy, and Coverage of integration demonstration.
