The collection consists of two scrapbooks containing photographs, clippings, art work and various other papers. Photographs depict Athens Area Retired Teachers Association members, and Georgia City Council members. Buildings and landmarks depicted in Athens include the double barrel cannon, First A.M.E Church, Thomas Street Fire Station, Morton Building, Phi Gamma Delta House, Taylor-Grady House, Tree that Owns Itself, the University of Georgia's president's house, and the Stephen Upson House. Additional people portrayed in newspaper clippings and photographs include Thomas H. Milner, Jr., M.B. and Maude Morton, Rodney D.
