Abstract: The collection consists of notebooks, photographs, slides and printed material from the collection of Paul Tabor. The photo materials include Kudzu Seedling Production, Plant Materials Work in the Southeastern U.S., Some Observational Plantings - Nursery Division Region II, Soil Conservation and Land Use in the South, and Annual Technical Report - Region II. |
Paul Tabor was a Management Agronomist with the Regional Nursery Division of the Soil Conservation Service at the USDA. Mr. Tabor began his work with the Civilian Conservation Corps and worked with the Region II nurseries, which included Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The nurseries are now called Plant Materials Centers.
