Scope and Content
The collection consists of two letters, possibly written by the same soldier: dated Marietta, Georgia, October 21, 1864, recipient's name and correspondent's signature are illegible, regarding marching in Marietta, the Battle of Allatoona, and Ohio elections; dated Camp of the 187th Ohio Infantry Regiment, October 22, 1865, to "Miss Meily," signed "T.H. Patterson," regarding Patterson's regiment, and his relationship with Meily.
