Historical Note
Charles Edgeworth Jones (b. 1867) was the son of Charles Colcock Jones (1831-1893). Jones graduated from the University of Georgia in 1885, and is the author of Georgia in the War, 1861-1865.

Scope and Content
The collection consists of correspondence to Charles Edgeworth Jones, a small scrapbook regarding the Alumni Banquet held June 18, 1889. The collection also includes four typed lists: names of graduates or attendants of U. S. Military Academy, Charles Colcock Jones, Jr.'s permanent publications, and historical and archaeological books.
