William Laurence (Lonnie) Coleman (1920-1982) was an American novelist and playwright, born in Bartow, Georgia, well known for writing the bestselling Beulah Land trilogy.
The collection consists of business and personal correspondence, notebooks, and manuscripts of short stories, plays, and novels written by Coleman. The notebooks contain diary entries which reveal the author's feelings about events affecting his life and notes on his works in progress.
