Archer Taylor was a folklorist originally from California, and a professor at UC Berkeley.
Scope and Content
This unprocessed collection contains the papers of Archer Taylor, a scholar of proverbs and jokes. The collection includes Taylor's copy of his Bibliography of Riddles which he has heavily annotated and pasted items into, possibly for revision. The collection is unarranged but a container listing is provided to facilitate access.
