Scope and Content
The collection consists of a scrapbook compiled by Florence Long Bartow documenting the life of her father, Crawford W. Long. The scrapbook contains newspaper clippings (1879-1919), handwritten transcriptions relating to Long's use of ether, printed material, and copies of affidavits written by patients of Long's in which ether was employed during operations.
