Scope and Content
The collection consists of an account book of Joel T. Coney of Laurens County, Georgia from 1870-1872. The book contains sharecropping contracts, debits and credits of the sharecroppers, including foodstuffs and tobacco. Each entry includes the date, item, and cost. Also included are end of the year tallies.
