Zachariah Lamar (1767-1834) was a plantation owner and cotton farmer in Baldwin County, Georgia.
The collection consists of papers of Zachariah Lamar, 1814-1858. Mainly pertaining to his business interests and plantation in Baldwin County, Georgia, the collection includes correspondence, plantation records, cotton records and sales, receipts, land bonds, and tuition records for Scottsboro Academy (Baldwin County, Georgia) and C. P. Beman's school at Mt. Zion (Hancock County, Georgia).
