Abstract: The collection consists of papers of W.H. Trezevant from 1875-1891. The papers relate to his work as a railroad agent and include bills of lading and correspondence (1880-1891) pertaining to the Memphis and Charleston Railroad, the Virginia and Tennessee Air Line Railroad, and the Western and Atlantic Railroad Company. The collection also contains freight rates, printed materials on tariffs, way-bills, and a letter book (1875-1882) containing personal correspondence and correspondence relating to Trezevant's involvement with the Southern Railway and Steamship Association.
W.H. Trezevant, railroad agent employed by the Memphis and Charleston Railroad, the Virginia and Tennessee Air Line Railroad, and the Western and Atlantic Railroad Company, resided in Augusta, Georgia.
