The collection consists of papers of Marion Colley Boyd from 1915-1948. Includes correspondence, newspaper clippings, and printed material. The collection centers upon her early (1915-1917) activities with the woman's suffrage movement in Georgia and New York, her work with the League of Women Voters of Georgia, and the Democratic Party. Also includes material relating to her service as a delegate to the 1924 Democratic National convention in New York and her role in the controversy over the adoption of the "Klan plank" by the convention.
