In turn of the century America, the Keystone View Company was a major distributor of stereographic images. Located in Meadville, Pennsylvania, the business help supply educational and comic/sentimental stereoviews as well as stereoscopes. It led the world in stereographic sales by 1905. Founded in 1892, the company closed in 1963.
The collection consists of 600 stereographic cards with scenes of the world, plus two stereoscopes. Views of various countries are depicted as well as views of different occupations.
