Biographical/historical note

Homer Cooper was a Sociology professor at UGA and, in the 1970s, was a member of a group of faculty who opposed the Fred Davison administration. Dr. Cooper was also active in the American Association of University Professors (AAUP).

Scope and Content

Much of this collection consists of materials documenting the administration of Fred Davison during the 1970s and 1980s. There are also materials relating to the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) from 1993.
