Historical note
Interviews in this collection were originally part of Look Forward, a project created by the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication of the University of Georgia in partnership with Georgia Humanities. Look Forward was funded by a grant from the Pulitzer Prize Centennial Campfire Initiatives, a joint venture of the Pulitzer Foundation and the Federation of State Humanities Councils. Interviews were originally published online at the Georgia Humanities website. Video recordings were later transferred to the Russell Library for preservation and access.
