Collection DescriptionScope and ContentThe collection consists of one record book. Handwritten entries (1870-1833) concern sales and prices; and list names of men in Georgia, South Carolina and Alabama towns who owned stores, owed money, and had paid accounts. Items sold included cotton, corn, wheat, rice, oats, potatoes, chickens, eggs, and butter; dried and uncured animal hides.
