Collection DescriptionScope and ContentThe collection consists of a survey of 178 acres of land in St. John's Parish belonging to John Stewart, Senior, dated December 3, 1761. The survey, "pursuant to Warrant from His Excell. James Wright Esq. Captain General & Governor in Chief," is signed by the Surveyor General Henry Yonge and W. DeBrahm and illustrated with the location of the property and indications of the neighboring tracts and owner's names.
