Foster," signed "M. Waddel," regarding Waddel's travel and preaching at Rocky-River, and his need for assistance. Waddel mentions Presbyterian ministers William Hampton Barr and Samuel Kennedy Talmadge. The collection also includes a typewritten document concerning the letter, edited by George W. Clower, published in Georgia Historical Quarterly sometime after 1936.
