Scope and ContentThe collection consists of eleven volumes of scrapbooks relating to Alfred Holt Colquitt, mainly compiled by Colquitt's secretary Isaac Wheeler Avery, from 1853-1894. The scrapbooks include clippings, with a few letters, primarily pertaining to Colquitt's terms as Governor (1876-1882), but also containing obituaries of Colquitt and letters of condolence.
