Key writes from Atlanta, Georgia, near the Chattahoochee River, Milton County, Georgia, and Fulton County, Georgia. Excerpt from letter dated Georgia, Cobb County, July 2, 1864: "Yesterday we were entertained by marching backward and forward as a support for Armstrong's cavalry on Johnston's left wing."
