Scope and Content

The Athens Rape Crisis Line collection includes documentation of the creation, management, and advocacy of the crisis line during its years of operation (1980-1983). The collection also covers women's rights, abortion access, and sexual violence prevention activism, scholarship, and resources across the state of GA during the 1980's and 1990's and follows some of the additional activities of the crisis line's founders and volunteers.
