Carey "Tuck" Pennell Jackson Jr. (1893-1975) grew up on and later ran the Jackson family farm. Scope and ContentCollection includes two ledgers by Carey Pennell Jackson Sr. (1852-1937) and four ledgers by Carey "Tuck" Pennell Jackson Jr. (1893-1975) which document their family's cotton gin and sawmill operation dating from 1890 to 1940. Also included is a cotton gin benefits contract, correspondence, notes, and cotton gin record book. The Jackson family farm was located on Sever Road in what is now Lawrenceville, GA.
