Collection DescriptionHistorical NoteDr. Richard Hudson (1960-2022) was a family medicine specialist and book collector from Atlanta, Georgia. He worked closely with patients from underserved communities especially focusing on patients from the AIDS, transgender, and deaf and deaf-blind communities. Originally from Michigan, the youngest of three children born to Richard and Carol Patton Hudson. Scope and ContentThis collection contains correspondence, manuscripts, photographs, sheet music, screenplays, writing, and art produced by a wide array of gay writers, poets, musicians, and artists. It also includes printed material, artifacts and ephemera regarding LGBT subject matter.
