Collection DescriptionScope and ContentThe collection consists of depositions of Bud Abbott and Lou Costello in a lawsuit against Universal Pictures Company, Inc., and Realart Pictures, Inc., over profits from reissues of Abbott-Costello movies and movie shorts. Depositions take place in United States District Court, Southern District of New York, on April 30, 1952, May 2, 1952, and May 5, 1952. Abbott and Costello are represented by Jack Lewis Kraus, and Louis Nizer represents Universal Pictures Co., Inc.
