Collection DescriptionHistorical NoteThe Southern Fandom Confederation is an organization started around 1969 that aims to connect members of varying science fiction and fantasy fandoms through publication and conventions. Their publication, The SFC Bulletin, is a collection of fanzines from the varying fandoms within the confederation and contains original writing from their members, fanzine reviews, and newsletters. Scope and ContentIncluded in this collection are files relating to the Southern Fandom Confederation including financial information, organization handbook and bylaws, as well as files relating to Irv Koch, a prominent figure in the SFC. Also included are various fanzines and publications relating to conventions. This collection is comprised of three series: Zines, General Files, and Convention Programs and Reports.
