Collection DescriptionScope and ContentThe Cambio-Avery collection is comprised of primary source materials that document the United States Women's Suffrage Movement (1840-1920). The collection's emphasis is on artifacts, such as campaign buttons, pennants, and sashes, but also includes some ephemera, broadsides, and periodicals, all of which record activities at the state, regional, and national levels, both for and against suffrage.
