Collection DescriptionHistorical NoteWilliam A. "Bill" Crump received his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Georgia and a PhD from Georgia State University. He served as Assistant Commissioner of Operations for the Georgia Department of Corrections, 1976-1990, and a part-time instructor in Criminal Justice at Georgia State University, 1985-1991. Crump conducted extensive research on the history of Georgia corrections. Scope and ContentThe collection consists of photographs of Georgia state correctional facilities and their staff. Some related printed material is also included.
