Collection DescriptionHistorical NoteBuford Sanders Wilder graduated from the University of Georgia in 1932 with a B.S. in agriculture. He served as a district soil conservationist in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands during the late 1940s and returned to the States in 1951. He was married to Anne Inez Wilder and they settled in Waynesboro, Ga. Scope and ContentThe collection consists of 92 color slides of soil conservation sites in Puerto Rico, St. Croix, and St. Thomas. Also included is Buford Sanders Wilder's diploma from the University of Georgia.
