Jacob Roman indenture
Collection DescriptionScope and ContentConsists of a 1714 indenture made between Nathaniel and Mary Childs of Philadelphia, Albertus and Elizabeth Hendricks of Penns Neck, New Jersey, and Jacob Roman of Chester, Pennsylvania. The document states that Roman paid the sum of thirty pounds and is therefore acquitted and discharged forever. A typed transcription of the deed is also included.
