Scope and ContentThe collection consists of one letter: dated Head Quarters 1st Wisconsin Cavalry, Carterville, Georgia, September 14, 1864, "Dear Frankie," signed "Perry," regarding his health and a scouting expedition along the Etowah River that surprised and overtook the Georgia State Militia.
