Collection DescriptionScope and ContentThe collection consists of printed copies of digital photographs of papers from Governor James Wright's Evidences file held at The National Archives in Kew, Surrey, England. Papers support Wright's loyalist claim; and concern plantations loyal to the Crown, and charges against the rebellious government of Georgia. Also included are (photographs of) correspondence and documents regarding land and property holdings. Papers are dated approximately 1762-1789, and the digital photographs of the papers were taken by Mary Warren in 2010.
