Collection DescriptionHistorical NoteThe Athens Ballet Theatre was founded in 1973 as the Northeast Georgia Ballet Workshop. It became affiliated with the Athens School of Ballet. Scope and ContentThe collection consists of printed material, including clippings, application brochures, programs, advertisements, and public relations and training guides; photographs depicting dance instructors, students, and performances; videocassettes, and scrapbooks. The videocassettes are mainly of performances by the Athens Ballet at various locations in Athens, Georgia.
