Collection DescriptionHistorical NoteHoward Holladay war born in Orangeburg SC and graduated from Orangeburg High School and the University of Georgia and was a US Army Veteran. He had a professional career in the insurance industry for 55 years, starting in the life insurance business in Augusta, GA in 1950, specializing in business and personal insurance and estate analysis. In the early eighties he opened his own business consulting firm working with medical cost containment and risk management. --- Howard K. Included are slides of a golf parade in Augusta, Georgia in 1959 where the golfer Arnold Palmer can be seen on a float in a few of the images. There are also slides of a University of Georgia home football game, college fraternity life, and slides taken on several trips to places in Europe and Asia.
