Collection DescriptionHistorical NoteJohn M. Hopkins was manager of the Okefenokee Wildlife Refuge. Scope and ContentThe collection consists of a typescript titled Okefenokee Swamp by John M. Hopkins, and two typewritten letters to John M. Hopkins, Waycross, Georgia, from Lucien Harris, dated March 25 and July 31, 1947, regarding publication of Hopkins' Okefenokee report, and alligator pictures. The collection also includes photocopies of a map of Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge, and copies of photographs used in Hopkins' book.
