Collection DescriptionHistorical NoteAlbert B. Saye, of the University of Georgia, Richard B. Russell Distinguished Professor of Political Science, is a noted expert on the Georgia constitution and its history. He worked on revisions to the state constitution of Georgia when, in 1976, the Georgia legislature and public referendum brought to the fore the need for such changes. Scope and ContentThe collection consists of two typescripts: Georgia's constitutional history, 1732-1945, by Albert Berry, published by University of Georgia Press; and The constitutional law of Georgia, cases and comments, by Albert Berry Saye and Charles Joseph Hilkey, published by The Harrison Company, Atlanta, Georgia. Typescripts were bound and contain handwritten typesetting notations.
