Storer bought controlling interest in Northeast Airlines in 1965. Storer Communications, Inc. is an American communications company founded in 1927 in Toledo, Ohio, by George B. Storer. It began as a radio broadcaster, and moved in television in 1948, then as a pioneer in cable television in 1963. Scope and ContentThe collection consists of scrapbooks documenting George B. Storer's career in the communications industry containing newspaper clippings, photographs, some correspondence and memorabilia relating to Fort Industry Company (1947-1953), Storer Broadcasting Company (1953-1971), and Northeast Airlines (1965-1970).
