Historical Note

The collection was compiled by Lucy Howard and her sister Pauline H. Comer of Athens, Georgia.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of material on the Howard and Randolph family lines of Virginia and Georgia and contains photographs, correspondence and several copies of other genealogies and several bound volumes. A post card collection has items sent to Lucy Howard and purchased items, business and legal papers, a copy of a sketch of Cobb Legion Cavalry, photographs of Lucy Howard, and family bibles. Two oversized folders contain a Callaway Family diagram and a large, framed photograph.
