Collection DescriptionHistorical NoteEleanor Pricilla Barrow Williams (1886-1977) was the daughter of David C. Barrow, Jr. (the chancellor of the University of Georgia). She married Henry Lee Jewett Williams (1887-1918), who was killed in action in France during World War I. The collection deals mainly with her life before her marriage and after her husband's death. Their daughter Eleanor Barrow Jewett Williams (1917-1956) married Gustav Karow in 1941.
