Scope and ContentThe collection consists of letters from Ira Wilkinson to his sister Lillie Wilkinson Manry from 1917-1918. Written from training camps in Mineola (N.Y.) and France, the letters mainly discuss news of family and friends, but also contain descriptions of life in the trenches during World War I.
