Collection DescriptionHistorical NoteMargaret Elizabeth Snow "Marel" Brown (1899-1991) was a writer of inspirational poetry, short stories, three juvenile stories and several magazine articles as well as four books containing poetry and essays. Ms. Brown received numerous awards for her writings including The Dixie Council's Poet of the Year Award, The Atlanta Writers' Club Writer of the Year Award.
