Farmers involved with the American Agriculture Movement formed a network of farmers across the United States and Canada to protest the direction of agricultural policy. Protests soon became known as "Tractorcades." See the American Agriculture Movement website. Farmland was a farmer-owned agricultural cooperative in North America. Scope and ContentThe collection consists the newspaper files of American Agriculture News, inventories of the Congressional Records Series of the University of Oklahoma, and Farmland Industries materials, including annual reports, copies of the minutes of board meetings, prospectuses for stock sales, special reports, correspondence, and notes.
